Getting babies to fall asleep and stay asleep is a complicated matter! Lack of sleep is one of the major complaints of most new parents and sometimes babies need a little outside assistance in being able to fall asleep. According to mommyissleeping.com, there are a few products that you can try to help your baby fall and stay asleep… which will help you do the same!

The Baby Shusher, The Galaxy Clock and The Itzbeen Pocket Nanny

The first device from mommyissleeping  is The Baby Shusher, which creates a “shushing” sound like the name suggests. It actually mimics the sound that a parent would make and it comes with pre-sets and a timer, so you don’t have to worry about turning it off after your baby has fallen asleep. The Galaxy Clock is a beauty to look at and can be used in more than just infancy. It has a star projector to project stars onto the ceiling (absolutely gorgeous), a sound machine that can be paired with your device as well as a white noise machine and nature sounds. It also features an alarm clock and a temperature device that monitors your baby’s room temperature. The Itzbeen Pocket Nanny is a little different than The Baby Shusher and The Galaxy Clock. According to mommyissleeping and calmknight, The Itzbeen Pocket Nanny is a baby timer that includes four different uses – last feeding, last diaper change, last medicine administered, etc. You can also set timers to remind you to check on your baby and lets you input your baby’s sleep schedule, to help set consistent bedtimes. It also comes equipped with a soft night light.

Baby Einstein Sleep Soother and The Marpac White Noise Machine

One of the more adorable products on calmknight.com, the Baby Einstein Sleep Soother is just as cute as it is useful! Featuring an aquarium scene that combines four different settings of combinations of lights and Sea Dream sounds, the Sleep Soother works like most sleep devices by helping gradually darken the room and calm the baby into slumber. The ingenious Marpac White Noise Machine. The best part of this sleep soother is that you can use it through adulthood! It is essentially a tiny fan, housed in an adjustable shell that allows you to change the level of noise at will. It makes the same sound as a baby would hear in the womb, soothing them naturally. All levels are adjustable – volume, pitch, etc.  It’s a great investment because, like The Galaxy Clock, it is a product that has more than just one use and can be used throughout your baby’s life. Imagine sending them off to college with this!
Sleep, for both baby and parent, is one of the most important things when you’ve had this huge adjustment happen to your household. There are a variety of products to try if you’re having trouble getting your baby to fall and stay asleep.
